You take the country. Everything else reacts.

Sovereign World Order is a strategy game where you run a nation — the economy, foreign relations and public opinion, all at once. 196 countries on the map, and every one of them reacts to what you do.

The basics

196 Playable countries

From the G7 to small economies. Each starts from its real situation: money, people and armed forces.

960+ Goods in the economy

From oil and ore to manufactured goods. This is what your country produces, imports and trades.

70 Connected systems

Touch a tax and inflation moves, which moves unemployment, which moves your approval. Nothing happens in isolation.

No luck Nothing is left to dice

The world does not cheat you. If it went wrong, it was the consequence of a decision — yours or another country’s.

Two months apart

June and August, same screens.

The game is in active development. These are the same screens two months apart — plus three that did not exist in June.

What you decide

Four problems that never stay solved.

The money

Raising tax funds the hospital and burns your approval. Cutting spending balances the books and enrages whoever relied on it. Printing money fixes today and bills you in inflation later. There is no clean way out.

Your word

On day one you sign a government programme: close the deficit, anchor prices, lift growth. Every year the country audits what you promised — against the real numbers. Deliver and you earn political credit. Fail and your rival takes the podium holding your own speech.

The other countries

Sanctions wreck your rival’s economy — and yours, if they supply you. An alliance protects you and ties your hands. A trade deal opens a market and exposes your industry. Every move on the board moves others.

Your own people

Ministers with their own agendas, a congress that bargains vote by vote, and a press that has already written tomorrow’s headline. Approval is not a decorative score: drop far enough and you lose the job mid-campaign.

The idea

Hard, but never unfair.

There is no "you win" screen. Govern for a hundred years if you like, and watch the country change with you. But it never gets easy: every decision that matters costs something, from the first year to the last.
